The best business schools in Europe to compete in the contest European Business Schools Case Challenge


Students of MBA programs of business schools that are among the top fifty schools in Europe according to Financial Times, will be able to meet face to face and test their potential as future business leaders in the contest European Business Schools Case Challenge 2006-2007.

45 business schools were invited to take qualifying round. Schools that rank FT European Business Schools Rankings 2005 took the top five lines, were contestants automatically. Among them - London Business School (UK), INSEAD (France), IMD (Switzerland), IESE (Spain) and the Instituto de Empresa (Spain). The remaining finalists will be announced in June 2006. In the final, which will take place within the walls of INSEAD in April 2007, will get 16 schools.

The competition will consist of several rounds. In each round, the team of 5 members be covered "case" - to solve a specific business problem from the real-world (eg, case-method - business case study). Proposed business objectives are fully simulated real-life situations: the participants will have to work under stress and time pressure. Designed contestants options to resolve business problems will be evaluated by members of the independent jury - members of the academic and business communities.

The winning team will be awarded the prize money, and the business school will receive trophy and the title - The European Business Schools Case Challenge Winner 2007. For the first time this biennial competition, which involved 14 business schools, was conducted in 2005. The winner was the team of the French school INSEAD.
